20/06/06 - Driver Dynamics joins the European Road Safety Charter

The European Road Safety Charter is an appeal and a driving force for all civil society organisations to provide a tangible contribution to increasing road safety in Europe. It is a forum and a platform for the signatories to exchange experiences and new ideas – across national borders – in their efforts towards greater safety on European roads. It is a manifestation of the responsibility that all stakeholders assume in order to achieve the common goal: halving the number of traffic fatalities by 2010.

Driver Dynamics is the first Australian organisation to be accepted as a signatory of the European Road Safety Charter.

20/06/2006 - Department of Immigration Gets Defensive

Recently the Driver Dynamics team conducted Defensive Driving courses at Sydney's Oran Park Raceway for Department of Immigration drivers.
The courses centred around the specific needs of the Departments drivers including emergency driving manoeuvres in the Departments Volkswagen Transporters.
Driver Dynamics Defensive Driver Training courses can be conducted in all states of Australia as well as the Asia Pacific region to meet the specific needs of your company fleet.

Driver Dynamics Skidpan Training Course is proving popular amongst drivers of all types of cars. With particular interest from car clubs, the courses are now booked months in advance.

Some recent participants include Skylines Australia, Supra Club, NissanSilvia.com, and Mazda RX8 owners.

20/06/2006 - Melbourne City Lexus Drive Day

Driver Dynamics has recently conducted a 'Guilt Free' performance drive day for Melbourne City Lexus at the picturesque Broadford Circuit (45 minutes from Melbourne). The day highlighted the latest Lexus GS450H giving participants the opportunity to experience first-hand the incredible acceleration of the new petrol / electric Hybrid Lexus.   Driver Dynamics also designed specific driving exercises that enabled the participants to experience the capabilities of the entire Lexus range including a Vehicle Dynamic Integrated Management (VDIM) exercise for the GS430, emergency braking and lane changing for the new IS250 and GS300, as well as the opportunity to experience the off road capabilities of both the LX470 and the recently released RX350.

20/06/2006 - Daimler Chrysler Services Drive Day

Driver Dynamics and current Fujitsu V8 Supercar Championship points leader Adam Macrow recently conducted a special drive day for Daimler Chrysler Services.
The drive day was first prize in a competition for Daimler Chrysler Services fleet customers. The winning fleet was Kell and Rigby from Sydney and the course was conducted at Sydney's Oran Park Raceway. The course covered Defensive Driving techniques throughout the morning including practical driving exercises which covered driving techniques including the correct use of ABS Braking Systems. Mercedes Benz provided the use of a new C200 Coupe Kompressor which proved very popular amongst the participants.
After lunch the participants where given the opportunity to experience a number of exercises form Driver Dynamics Advanced Car Control Course and the afternoon concluded with a special competitive event which saw the participants divided into two teams competing in special precision driving challenges against the stopwatch.

17/03/05 - Driver Dynamics and the Princess

Driver Dynamics is honoured to have provided professional driving services to Her Royal Highness Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden and her entourage during the Victorian leg of the Australian tour.

Princess Victoria was visiting Australia to promote 'Swedish Style', a celebration of contemporary Sweden in Australia. Highlighting Sweden's excellence in design, fashion, music, travel, environmental sustainability and food, her highness is the patron of Swedish Style in Australia 2005.

23/02/05 - See us in action at the Melbourne Motorshow

Driver Dynamic's precision drivers will be again be demonstrating the latest four wheel drive vehicles at the Melbourne Motorshow. Representing Holden, Hyundai, and Ssangyong on the 4wd test circuit from the 3rd till 14th March.

This year the 4wd circuit promises to be more challenging than ever before. So if you're going to the Motorshow, be sure to drop by and have a free ride across the circuit.
