Melbourne City Lexus Drive Day

Driver Dynamics has recently conducted a ‘Guilt Free’ performance drive day for Melbourne City Lexus at the picturesque Broadford Circuit (45 minutes from Melbourne).lexus 4wd on drive day The day highlighted the latest Lexus GS450H giving participants the opportunity to experience first-hand the incredible acceleration of the new petrol / electric Hybrid Lexus.

Driver Dynamics also designed specific driving exercises that enabled the participants to experience the capabilities of the entire Lexus range including a Vehicle Dynamic Integrated Management (VDIM) exercise for the GS430, emergency braking and lane changing for the new IS250 and GS300, as well as the opportunity to experience the off road capabilities of both the LX470 and the recently released RX350.

Driver Dynamics joins the European Road Safety Charter

ESRC LogoThe European Road Safety Charter is an appeal and a driving force for all civil society organisations to provide a tangible contribution to increasing road safety in Europe. It is a forum and a platform for the signatories to exchange experiences and new ideas – across national borders – in their efforts towards greater safety on European roads. It is a manifestation of the responsibility that all stakeholders assume in order to achieve the common goal: halving the number of traffic fatalities by 2010.Driver Dynamics is the first Australian organisation to be accepted as a signatory of the European Road Safety Charter.

Daimler Chrysler Services Drive Day

v8 Supercar driver Adam MacrowDriver Dynamics and current Fujitsu V8 Supercar Championship points leader Adam Macrow recently conducted a special drive day for Daimler Chrysler Services.
The drive day was first prize in a competition for Daimler Chrysler Services fleet customers.

The winning fleet was Kell and Rigby from Sydney and the course was conducted at Sydney’s Oran Park Raceway. The course covered Defensive Driving techniques throughout the morning including practical driving exercises which covered driving techniques including the correct use of ABS Braking Systems. Mercedes Benz provided the use of a new C200 Coupe Kompressor which proved very popular amongst the participants.
After lunch the participants where given the opportunity to experience a number of exercises form Driver Dynamics Advanced Car Control Course and the afternoon concluded with a special competitive event which saw the participants divided into two teams competing in special precision driving challenges against the stopwatch.
